Guide for Resolving Section Editing Issues in Translated Drupal Pages​

Issue Due to a known bug in Drupal, once a landing page is created, its sections cannot be modified in the translated version.

Workaround Options You can choose from one of the following solutions:

Option 1: Recreate the Page

  • Rebuild the landing page from scratch.
  • Assign it the same URL as the original.
  • Recommendation: Add a few empty sections during creation to accommodate future changes, since you won’t be able to add new sections later.

Option 2: Reuse an Existing Section

  • Add the view or content to a currently available section on the page.
  • Note: This is faster but may lead to design issues, such as overlapping backgrounds or layout inconsistencies.
  • Review your sections to see if any can be merged with adjacent ones to free up usable space.
